I received Wanted by the Werewolf Prince as a review copy from the author. The gifting did not determine the review/rating, which reflects my honest opinion. I enjoyed tis story enough, I pre-purchased a copy for my kindle.The intriguing opening chapter caught my attention-- excellent writing, and well-defined characters kept me reading during one sitting. I read an advance copy which only contained a few spelling errors, but these shouldn't detract from your reading experience and will likely be fixed in released version. The book is an excellent value with lots of depth (relationship and worldbuilding), and complex political shenanigans. A great read with riviting characters!
At last. Another good author of SF. I have been reading so many poor, dumb, totally unrealistic books. Then I read this one. Good action, writing, hero, military, werewolf, military girl with a brain, and different scenes and planets. One you start reading, the time flows. This is a book that the author must have thought out. Nothing is leap in your face, but it flows, is interesting and makes you want to get the next book in the series. It is not just pages and pages of sex, but it has just enough. I enjoyed it, especially after reading, or trying to read, so many SF that are best to just be forgotten about. Others have written about the story, but I just enjoyed it and want the next book.
Wanted By The Werewolf Prince is a great action adventure paranormal sizzling romance. It is also a lighthearted story that is addictive and hard to put down. The protagonist, Skye was the centrist of the story. Warning, there is very explicit language and sexual scenes throughout the entirety of the book. However, the power and sexual tension between the primary and secondary characters truly make Wanted By The Werewolf Prince is a page-turner that fully engages the reader. –Tex. Overall, Wanted By The Werewolf Prince is a really good read that I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Skye is a space pilot who is on a mission to rescue Ral the werewolf prince. Neither of them thought they would find each other or love. I enjoyed this book and the tale of their journey, but they both made it so difficult when neither of them are able to really communicate effectively. Will they find their HEA or will the miscommunication end their love before it takes root? I hope the next book in the series is just as good.
Wow! So, this was my first book by this author, and I am completely hooked. The hero & heroine are snarky, alpha-to-the-core, and hot together! Add to that a fantastic story line that does a great job of story-building and hooking you into the bigger picture, and I can't wait for the next book. The characters were real and I was completely invested in them as I experienced adrenaline, laughter, anger, shock, and sorrow along with the characters.
Love Kara Lockhartes' writing, the story grips you right from the beginning and her characters are so much fun,with the right amount of heartbreak, alot of snark and you'll just need to read the books in this wonderful series to see how each one ends. While this a stand alone book, the characters do pop up in the other books. I would love to see this series go on for a long time. BJD
Skye is a pilot, an adrenaline junkie of the highest order and also one of the best the coalition has. Ral is one of two royal dignitaries she's charged with rescuing without giving away her identity. Several things happen though that change both her outlook and the mission and all of them revolve around Ral.
Two totally opposite personalities, she is a fighter, she has a mission and he isn't one of them. He has instinct on his side and his wolf want only her. But untruths may destroy them. The story is engaging and dramatic. Loved that it had the futuristic fantasy, can't wait to read more.
